The main objectives of this assignment include:

  • Strengthen local government capacity in preparing and implementing inclusive and resilient local development plans;
  • Strengthen local government capacity in applying land use control, improving municipal financial planning, and service delivery efficiency;
  • Strengthen local government capacity on DRR responsive planning and efficient service delivery;
  • Strengthen local government capacity in adapting and mitigating climate change’s impact on vulnerable communities and city dwellers’ livelihoods.
