Review and Update the BUR/NC Database of UNFCCC

Key responsibilities:

• Gain a practical understanding of the Transparency framework of the Climate Change international process.
• Help the team with MRV issues for developing countries under the Convention and the ETF under the Paris Agreement.
• Analyze BURs and FSV reports.
• Contribute to the technical analysis of BURs and FSV reports under the MRV arrangements for developing countries.
• Research information on GHG inventories, mitigation actions, adaptation, and needs as reported by developing countries in their NCs and BURs.
• Use in-house IT tools and software to improve the database on information reported by developing countries and the ICA process.
• Help organize events and support communication and outreach under the ICA process.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the unit webpages (in English), keeping them up-to-date, and creating content and announcements.
• Support other tasks related to MRV arrangements under the Convention and transition to the ETF, as requested by the Team Lead.
